Skydive

In case you’re not a morning person, nothing will wake you up easier than a jump out of a plane 13 000 feet above the Palm of Dubai. It’s an exciting activity that will last for about 60 seconds as you fall 120 miles per hour.

After those 60 seconds of falling, your parachute will open and you’ll get to glide through the air for about 5 minutes while overlooking the gorgeous skyline of Dubai. Imagine watching a sunrise up in the air. 

Of course, an experienced instructor will be right with you to help you and make sure that you’re safe. You’ll start by meeting the instructor and having an interview with them, then you’ll board the plane, skydive and finish it off with a parachute ride. As a bonus, they will have a professional photographer and video maker to capture your entire journey down.

Day 3

Take a hot air balloon ride

This is one of the best things you can do in Dubai in the early morning. Wake up before the sunrise and hop on a journey to the desert with your guide. Once you reach the take-off spot, board a balloon and watch the world get smaller bellow your feet. 

In a matter of minutes, you’ll be watching the sunrise with falcons, at the height of 4000 feet. Remember to take many pictures of this incredible flight and film your takeoff too. When your ride is done, the guide will escort you to the camp in a desert setting and you’ll get to ride some vintage Land Rovers too and have a tasty breakfast.

It’s been a favorite since it opened, especially for its fish food and open, terraced space. Its menu is mostly Mediterranean, so that would give you a chance to get a taste of Europe at the heart of the United Arab Emirates.

Kite Beach

Dubai is almost always warm, so it’s a good idea to spend a part of your afternoon at one of the best beaches in the world. It’s wide and flat with a bunch of activities and things to do. Because it’s windy, kite surfers love it – and you will too. Rent your own kite and a board and glide across the blue waters of the Gulf. 

Once you’re done with kiteboarding, move on to the skate park and enjoy learning how to skate in one of the best facilities of the type in the city. Of course, take a break to get an ice-cream or some food from one of the top-notch food trucks that gather there. 

And if you get tired, hop over to the Jumeriah Beach Hotel for a cup of coffee. 

Aquaventure Waterpark

To continue your outdoor adventure, visit the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark. Dubai is surrounded by water, so one of the best ways to enjoy it is to splash around and go on rides at this unique resort. 

It contains more than 30 slides and different activities, the longest Lazy River in Dubai as well as its own private beach if you feel like swimming in the sea. Adults and kids alike adore its record-busting rides, as well as the sweeping aquarium full of sea wildlife.

Overnight luxury safari

If you want a true desert adventure, then the Overnight Safari is just the thing for you. This once-in-a-lifetime event will take you away on a journey through history and desert wildlife, all in a convenient package. 

Most of the time, overnight safaris start in the late afternoon, when a guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the desert. Then, you will get to ride camels to the campsite. As the sun slowly starts to set, and the smell of barbecue fills up the air, you’ll get to ride in dune buggies, do some sandboarding and so on. 

Once the sun sets, prepare to enjoy a traditional Arabian dinner while lounging in comfortable seats and watching belly dancers and other entertainment sweeps you away into your own fairytale.

There’ll be henna painters too. 

And if all of that wasn’t enough, you should see the starry sky above the desert. When you’re ready to go to sleep, the guide will provide you with a tent and your own sleeping mattress, so you can sleep under the stars.

Once you wake up the next morning, you’ll be welcomed with tea and coffee, some breakfast and a ride back to your hotel. 

Day 4

Since the past two days have been all about staying active and doing the most offbeat things in Dubai, your fourth day will bring some well-deserved relaxation. And there’s no better way to relax than to shop around all day.

The ambient is calming, with soothing music to support the vibes. Staff is famously friendly and all of this will make your comeback to urban Dubai even better and more magical. 

Dubai Mall

  • Location: Financial Center Rd, Along Sheik Zayed road, next to Burj Khalifa tower, Dubai

Dubai has many malls, but none is as brilliant as the Dubai Mall. From luxury shops to international restaurants and activities you can partake in, you could spend an entire day here and still not see it all. 

Shop for clothes in some of the best stores in the world, created by the top 200 designers and brands. You’ll find Gucci, Prada, Luis Vuitton, Givenchy, YSl and other stores, right at your fingertips. And it’s not just clothing either – you can get accessories, shoes, toys and endless items in this imposing building. 

When you get tired of shopping and need a snack, stop by one of the mall’s restaurants. There are so many of them that you won’t know which one to pick – from cheaper ones to truly extravagant ones, you’ll have a good set of choices. 

And if you want to see what else the mall has to offer, prepare to be amazed. There’s an indoor aquarium with more than 30 000 sea world animals from sea horses to sharks and dolphins. You can take a stroll down the hallways as fishes swim alongside. 

Go to the ice rink where you can skate and feel like a star. Even if you can’t skate, the rik humbly provides a teacher that will show you all the best moves. 

In case you traveled to Dubai with kids, the Dubai Mall has got you covered too – there are so many child-friendly activities. From the VR park where they can experience some of the latest technologies to KidZania where they can play pretend in their own little city. 

At the same time, they could play and ride in the Dubai Dino or visit the SEGA Republic which is full of arcade games and related activities both for grownups and for kids. 

Finally, if you miss relaxing in front of the TV, visit the Reel Cinema and enjoy some of the best new movies. Spend most of your day here before moving onto the Gold Souk.

Gold Souk of Dubai

Your late afternoon will be perfectly finished off with a trip to the famous Gold Souk. It’s a traditional market of the Emirates and it features some of the best gold in the world. Even looking at all of it can be alluring. 

You can find beautiful gemstones, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets here, but you can also just look at them and enjoy the beauty. Nearby are the Spice Souk and numerous small stores filled with handmade crafts and stunning materials.

Dinner at Armani

They serve traditional Italian food but there are also modern takes on some of the classic dishes. The ambient is classy and modern, while the music is relaxing and suitable for the venue. And to top it off, the staff is extremely hospitable and they will give you a personalized service based on your needs. 

Day 5

This will be your final day in Dubai for this trip, and it will round up all of your favorite things in one. There will be more fantastic food, fabulous backdrops and luxurious sights, all at your fingertips.

To give yourself some time between eating and skiing, visit the penguins first and spend some time playing with them and learning about them. After that, move on to some of the famous rides in the park, ski down one of the slopes and enjoy other activities. 

There’s so much to do that you won’t even notice the time passing by. And if you want the entire place for yourself, whether for a party or just because that’s possible too – just arrange it with the staff a few weeks ahead.

Dubai Miracle Garden

Back in the heat, this is a perfect place to spend your early afternoon. Here, it’s all about nature and the beauty of it. It’s a huge property – so big that it holds the world’s record for the biggest flower garden in the world.

The designers there work tirelessly to create spectacular sculptures of animals, toys, landmarks and all sorts of things. It’s colorful and calming for the eyes in a way that inspires you and boosts your energy.
